Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is an Mexican American Sportscaster. She works for ESPN as the SportsCenter News Anchor. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual by her age of nine. This ability which helped her obtain her first role as an Univision producer assistant Miami. She worked with the producers of National shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Then she was hired by she was hired by the CBS subsidiary in St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. In 2009, she moved from Texas in the Rio Grande Valley where she became a news correspondent at KNVO TV 48 Univision. Reporters covered issues related to the issue of immigration and trafficking drugs across both Texas and Mexico. The station also frequently asked her to be anchors for the weather and sports. She was then anchor and reporter for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. She was then given more responsibility. She reported on all of the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. She also hosted on the regional Univision 23 sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. She was anchor for the sports segment of Despierta America Deportes morning show. She worked in the same role as Primer Impacto on UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta's parents hail from Veracruz Mexico. Her birth date was November 22nd, 1985, in Mexico City. She's younger than her sister. The family in 1992 left Mexico and relocated to Miami. The couple divorced shortly after and her mother got married to an architect from the naval profession named Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. The summer of 2006, she spent an entire week with her sister at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was employed there. Antonietta was just graduating from high school but already knew the things she wanted to accomplish. As it turned out she was a fan of the university and the university offered the degree she was searching for. Following her graduation from her high school education, she chose to attend the University to pursue a degree in media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also the manager of the WRMU's 91.1FM station, where she was employed for a number of years, was her friend. The professor encouraged her to have self-confidence and was greatly moved by his love of journalism.
